The winter storm that delivered snow and sent temperatures plunging below zero degrees has prompted the cancellation or delay of several flights from Missoula Montana Airport.
During the pandemic, a number of carriers cut service and Missoula lost a number of routes. Now, as travel out of Missoula grows to record numbers, the flights are coming back and carriers are doing so on larger airplanes.
Infrastructure funding announced this week by Sen. Jon Tester will bring $3.4 million to Missoula Montana Airport to help it continue its expansion and plan for future operations.
