Get ready for some beer tasting, or wine sipping if you prefer.

The Missoula Downtown Association and KettleHouse Brewing will kick off the seventh annual Winter BrewFest this Friday night. Held at Caras Park, the annual event will feature live entertainment, beer, wine, food and more.

The public is invited to sample more than 40 Montana-only winter brews.

In addition to showcasing beer from Montana’s finest breweries, Winter BrewFest will feature the musical talent and tasty eats that make downtown Missoula a vibrant place to connect – even in the snow.

Entertainment will be provided by Jimmy Smith (formerly of The Gourds) and the Jimmy Smith System, along with the upcoming Missoula band Rotgut Whines. Food will be provided by El Cazador, Big Thai Country, Sonny’s Original, and Black Cat Bake Shop.

Attendees can stay warm throughout the night with burn barrels and propane heaters.

Admission is $15 per person and includes one 7-ounce commemorative glass and three beer tokens. Additional tokens are 2 for $3. Those attending must be 21 years of age or older and will be required to show identification at the entrance.

The event takes place on February 24 from 5-9 p.m.
