On August 20, 1876, Judge Frank Woody married “J. B. Buker to Mrs. Angelina McWhirk,” at Dr. Buker’s home. Why did they marry? Did Dr. Buker love the woman? We only know that the marriage failed very quickly and very bizarrely.
