Missoula County Democrats nominated three people for county commissioner to fill Nicole Rowley's seat on the board. Rowley recently accepted a job with Gallatin County government in Bozeman. Wade Palmer: MHP trooper shot in head, face, neck; remains in induced coma
The Montana Highway Patrol trooper who shot multiple times last week in Evaro remains in extremely critical condition in a Salt Lake City hospital. Lindsey Palmer, the wife of Trooper Wade Palmer, released a statement Wednesday morning saying that her husband was shot three times in the head, face and neck, and “is stable but his condition is still considered extremely critical.”
Wife of wounded MHP trooper thankful for community support
The wife of the Montana Highway Patrol trooper who was shot in the head and critically wounded in a Friday shooting in Evaro is thanking the community for the outpouring of support. Lindsey Palmer, the wife of Trooper Wade Palmer, provided a statement for the patrol to share on Monday morning.
FWP moves moose, calf out of downtown Missoula to new home in Ninemile
A moose and calf that decided to take a walk around downtown Missoula on Friday morning were moved out of the city by game wardens. The Missoula Police Department sent out an alert Friday morning that the animals were seen in the area of the 200 block of East Pine Street.
