The selection of Adult beverages lining the shelves at local grociery stores got a little more crowded last week after the Seattle Cider Company expanded its distribution into Montana.

The Seattle-based cidery recently signed a distribution agreement with Summit Beverage in the Missoula and Butte markets, as well as Bronken’s Distributing in the Bozeman market and Fun Beverage covering Northwest Montana.

Seattle Cider Company was founded with a love of the outdoors, which is why we package our core products in cans” said Joel VandenBrink, the company's founder and CEO. “We’re excited for the opportunity for Seattle Ciders to be enjoyed alongside the trails, rivers and mountain ranges in Montana.”

Starting last month, Seattle Cider introduced a number of 16-ounce products in the Missoula market, including its Dry, Semi Sweet and Basil Mint products, as well as its Tangerine Turmeric at select locations.

The company's seasonal offering, including Gin Botanical, will also be available throughout the spring in cans and on draft, VandenBrink said.

The expansion into Montana brings the company's distribution to 15 states, including Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Idaho. The company promotes its product as gluten free and made from a custom blend of fresh pressed and locally grown apples.
