(STERLING CRE) What are all these new buildings going in around Missoula?

When you’re out and about in Missoula, you’ve no doubt seen several new building projects coming out of the ground. This week, we’re looking at some of the new projects on the north and west sides of town.

Several new food options will be hitting the Missoula market soon.

In the parking lot in front of the Target on North Reserve, a new Panera Bread restaurant is in the works. This well known national brand will have its bakery along with the soups and sandwiches it has become famous for over the years. Be sure to keep an eye out for progress on that site in the coming months.

More local options in food will be arriving soon at the former Ibey Landscaping building off Butler Creek Rd. Rooster Loo, a new farm-to-table restaurant, will be opening there in May. This concept comes from the minds behind Tagliare Deli and Caffe Dolce and will be serving breakfast and lunch featuring fresh food grown on site. Stop by and see what’s happening!

If vegan food is your thing, a new store called Plant Perks will be opening up next to Burns St Bistro this summer, so be sure to check that out as well.

On the medical real estate side, you’ve probably noticed some changes happening to the former Adair Jewelry building on S Reserve. A new dialysis clinic will begin accepting new patients there this summer.

Last, a former orange-colored restaurant building on Stockyard Rd is going to be converted to the office headquarters of Energy Partners, just south of the Hilton Garden Inn. Being in Missoula’s only opportunity zone and an Urban Renewal District, this project is the next up for what will likely be a flurry of activity in that area over the coming year.
