After building two new banks in Missoula and renovating a third, Stockman Bank is now looking north, where it plans to open its first Flathead Valley facility.

Joe Kola, Flathead market president, said the new office will be located at 1 Main Street in Kalispell. The facility is set to open by the end of the year.

“Once we’re open, we’ll be able to help customers with personal and business accounts and loans, along with home loans,” Kola said. “We're looking forward to opening this new office in Kalispell where we can serve our existing Flathead customers and welcome new customers.”

Along with the new Kalispell office, Kola said the bank is looking for other locations around the Flathead Valley. The banking company plans to break ground in October on a new facility in Whitefish.

It's also hiring.

“I am looking for bankers dedicated to putting their customers at the center of all they do,” said Kola. “At Stockman, we are well known for our commitment to providing exceptional customer service along with our strong community involvement, and a well-trained and competent workforce.”

Stockman – a family-owned bank – expanded its presence in western Montana when it built a new facility in downtown Missoula. The company followed by building a second bank on Missoula's south side, and renovated a third located off North Reserve.

Stockman currently claims 36 locations across the state.
