The Senate voted 96-1 on Thursday to approve an $8.3 billion emergency aid package to combat the coronavirus outbreak, sending the measure to President Donald Trump’s desk.

A celebration of life has been set for Missoula's oldest resident and one of University of Montana's most loyal alums who died last weekend. The community is invited to attend the celebration for Emma B. Lommasson on Tuesday December 17 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom on the UM campus.

Emma Lommasson, Missoula's oldest resident at 107 and the longest serving alumna at the University of Montana, passed away over the weekend, according to family and friends.
