(KPAX) U.S. Attorney General William Barr will join Montana Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) Friday in Evergreen to discuss the methamphetamine epidemic in Montana.

Sen. Daines staffers say the roundtable discussion will be on Friday afternoon in Evergeen. Daines and Barr will be joined by other local officials at the event, including Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino and U.S. Marshall Rod Ostermiller.

Prior to stopping in Kalispell, Barr take part in discussions with tribal leaders and federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement on strategies to address missing and murdered indigenous persons in Pablo.

Earlier this year, Daines brought Vice President Mike Pence to Montana to see the crisis firsthand.
