Missoula Sketcher’s Sunday Post: Memory Lane

So this week I'm simply catching up on past posts. Here are a few more sketches of downtown Missoula. Our city is growing and some scenes in these and other sketches I've made over the years are changing, or will change very soon.

Look south on Higgins Avenue toward Front Street, the Florence Building catches the morning sun.

Back in my college days, this used to be the Red Rooster Trading Post, or something to that extent. It's been dressed up nicely in recent years and occupied by a new business.

I got a night at the Holiday Inn Parkside a few years back for my birthday. I sketched this from the balcony of my room on the fourth floor. The hotel is under new ownership and they're making some extensive upgrades to the hotel.
