Forty-five thousand municipal general election ballots will be mailed to Missoula voters on Wednesday.

Missoula County elections supervisor Rebecca Connors said ballots will be sent to those who are registered to vote within the municipal boundaries and have an “active” status with the elections office.

Voters can check their voting status at or by calling Missoula Votes at 258-4751 to confirm their information on file.

The municipal ballot includes Missoula’s mayoral race, municipal judge, and seven ward council members.

The Elections Center located at the Missoula County Fairgrounds is now open to serve all election needs. Registering to vote or updating voter information must be done in person at the fairgrounds center.

The following services are available there:

  • Register to vote;
  • Change registration address;
  • Receive a ballot;
  • Drop off a ballot;
  • Vote using an ADA accessible AutoMark voting machine.

All ballots for the city election are due by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 7. The election is a mail-only ballot.

For all voting services, the public should appear at the Elections Center at the Fairgrounds Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
