Dozens of student activists in Missoula joined the Global Climate Strike on Friday, leading an estimated 2,000 supporters in demanding sweeping changes to the status quo. itself a desperate push to set the planet on a new trajectory.
The students, who took turns speaking over the two-hour morning rally, didn’t mince words, attacking institutional leaders, the educational system, consumers, motorists, the media, politicians, and an American system founded on capitalistic principles.
Friday’s global rally was pegged as the largest climate change event in human history, uniting millions of people from across the planet in their call for change.
