Nearly 10 years after adopting a building code program, Missoula County on Tuesday rolled back some of the regulations it included by exempting certain structures from needing a building permit on certain properties.

In 2021 and 2022, Missoula added nearly 4,900 new residents, bringing its current population to 83,500 people.
