Pedestrian killed by semi in crosswalk at Brooks and Higgins
According to the Missoula Police Department, a witness said a semi-truck hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk and continued south on Brooks without stopping.

City to pursue federal grant for downtown, Higgins road plans
Calling it a big piece of Missoula's transportation puzzle, members of the City Council on Wednesday placed their support behind plans to apply for a federal grant to reshape a number of streets and trails in the downtown district.
