Citing future growth and demand, the Missoula Parking Commission on Tuesday approved a resolution to establish managed parking on the Hip Strip and several surrounding blocks.

While a proposed development off Higgins Avenue isn't set in stone, the Missoula City Council on Monday agreed to vacate a short alley to accommodate a future project.
