Scientists from the National Institutes of Health on Monday said several mosquito-borne viruses are circulating in Montana, which could cause encephalitis and other health effects that are unfamiliar to most physicians.

Local and state officials on Monday reported the first cases of West Nile Virus of 2024 have been found in mosquitos in four counties in eastern Montana.
