While the watches and warnings have lifted, winter maintained its icy grip on western Montana on Monday morning, with temperatures at dawn hovering at -17 degrees.
The winter storm that delivered snow and sent temperatures plunging below zero degrees has prompted the cancellation or delay of several flights from Missoula Montana Airport.
Temperatures in Missoula dropped from a high of 14 degrees on Wednesday at midnight and fell steadily over the course of the day, officially hitting 0 degrees at 1:30 p.m.
