First it was a Mexican garage punk band from Guadalajara — Le Butcherettes. Then it was an Americana-bluegrass band from Santa Cruz – The Devil Makes Three.

Follow that up with the dual headliners Social Distortion and Flogging Molly and you've got a wild evening of hard driving sounds from punk, bluegrass, hard rock to Irish music at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater.

The raucus, heavy drinking and appreciative Missoula crowd was not disappointed. This is the third time in three years that Flogging Molly has played Missoula venues.

Each time they bring an energy that takes one back to the intimacy of an Irish pub. This Los Angeles based band has been treating crowds to their brand of Irish music – Celtic punk – since 1997.

I can't wait for next year!
