Missoula photographers’ book preserves images of Montana’s last one-room schools
Missoula photographers Neil Chaput de Saintonge and Keith Graham visited more than a third of Montana's 67 active one-room schools in the 2013-14 academic year. Their resulting book, a tribute to the tiny (and vanishing) schools, was just published by Riverbend Publishing in Helena.

Lynda Moss, a former Democratic state senator from Billings, announced on Wednesday that she plans to be a candidate for Montana’s only congressional seat. Moss said she will officially announce her candidacy this Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Toucan Gallery in Billings.

Professional misconduct: Disciplinary counsel files complaint against Wittich
The state Office of Disciplinary Counsel filed a complaint against former state Sen. Art Wittich on Monday, charging him with professional misconduct. The complaint, filed with the Commission on Practice of the Montana Supreme Court by Chief Disciplinary Counsel Michael Cotter, stems from Wittich’s trial in 2016, when he was found liable for violations of state campaign finance laws.
