Quarterback Dalton Sneed continued to impress on Montana's eighth day of fall camp, hitting an outstretched Samuel Akem for a 50-plus yard gain on a post route. Sneed also hit freshman receiver Malik Flowers deep down the left side for a score, with both receivers making plays on the ball.

The Montana Grizzlies returned to the practice fields at Dornblaser Wednesday for practice No. 7 as the Griz climbed over hump day in the middle of the fall camp schedule. With temperatures returning to the mid-90s again, the dog days of summer are setting in around Missoula, but that didn't keep the energy down as the Griz more than just got through the two-and-a-half-hour session.

The Montana Grizzlies opened up week two of fall camp on Tuesday, diving into the finer details of the installation process with a practice plan featuring plenty of situational work. The Grizzly defense once again showed it should be a force to be reckoned with this year, coming up with several big plays as the intensity ramped up during the second practice in full pads.

The Montana Grizzlies suited up in full pads for the first time at fall camp on Sunday. Even with only shells and helmets on for the previous four, practice five wasn't noticeably more physical than previous practices … they've been physical all along.

The Montana Grizzlies took the field in helmets and shoulder pads for practice No. 4 at Dornblaser Field on Saturday, with the grind of fall camp setting in and exactly three weeks until they take the field against Northern Iowa at under the lights at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. As the most experienced group amongst the Grizzlies, Montana's defense imposed its will for much of Saturday's practice, but for head coach Bobby Hauck, there was still room for plenty improvement on both sides of the ball.

The temperature went up in Missoula and so did the intensity at Griz fall camp on Friday as Montana sported shoulder pads for the first time this season at practice No. 3. Montana saw another day of steady improvement over the previous two days with big plays once again highlighting the practice on both sides of the ball as the coaching staff continues to install the playbook.

The Montana Grizzlies returned the proving grounds at Dornblaser Field for the second practice of fall camp on a toasty Missoula Thursday afternoon. What was clear to those in attendance is that the offseason rust had been sweat out of the Griz on day one, and the Grizzlies' execution level returned to near pre-summer levels in the helmets-only outing.

The temps were high but so was the energy at Dornblaser Field for the first practice of the Montana Grizzlies' fall camp on Wednesday. Breaking a sweat was not an issue for the team as coach Bobby Hauck put the Griz through the paces in the two-and-a-half-hour session, with the mercury hovering in the mid-90s.

The Montana Grizzlies finished ticking the boxes of fall camp preparation Tuesday, with newcomers and vets fitting equipment, gathering in meetings with coaches to outline expectations, and hitting the weight room for the first lift of the new season. On Wednesday afternoon the team took the field for the first official practice as they build toward kickoff against No. 13 Northern Iowa on Sept. 1, under the lights at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
