Viewpoint: Davis will balance city’s housing policy

For the nearly twenty years we’ve known Andrea, she has shown the right mix of leadership, ambition, and enthusiasm for the work of public policy and community building.

She has a depth of experience in leadership roles and housing development. Her advocacy work has been at the forefront of the issues most important to Missoulians and she has developed valuable relationships at the local, state and federal level.

Private developers want maximum financial return on investment. This is reasonable, but doesn’t necessarily bring the best results for our community.

The for-profit developers are already heavily represented in city government and policy making. Andrea will bring a more balanced approach to housing policy that serves the needs of the whole community.
