In an effort to reduce costs and boost ridership, Mountain Line has proposed a number of route changes that could benefit some parts of Missoula and leave others without service.

Plans to reshape the downtown transportation network and another geared toward Brooks Street remain on the horizon, and the city is pursuing them both with diligence.

An amendment added to a transportation bill in the House of Representatives could cut federal funding to transportation agencies that provide zero fare service, including Mountain Line in Missoula.
