A visitor to the Capitol building won’t get bumped aside by fast moving “suits” with eyes glued to phones. Quiet reins without lobbyists strutting around, congratulating themselves.

Instead, they’re bewildered about how the legislators slipped their grip.

Lobbyists now must up their game. Initiatives are stacking up with the Secretary of State. Legislators will spend the summer voting on them.

Lobbyists tried to pass SB93 to end initiatives. But SB93 is in Sine Die limbo as ballot issues stack up with the Secretary of State.
