The Montana Department of Labor and Industry said the Jobs for Montana Graduates chapter will expand postsecondary options for students and strengthen the pipeline from high school to career.

While supporting local businesses is a dirty word to some members of City Council, the two candidates for mayor believe that needs to change, and that Missoula has new opportunities on the table that can grow the workforce and provide good-paying jobs.

The University of Montana’s push to be the region’s cybersecurity hub took another step forward this week after the National Security Agency officially redesignated Missoula College as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense.
