Striking Amazon and Starbucks workers in California and elsewhere have long pushed for union contracts. The Trump administration is unlikely to be on their side.
Union members in Missoula picketed Thursday at the Amazon warehouse in solidarity with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters striking across the country.
With stalled negotiations over wages and seniority, and claims that union employees have been intimidated and surveilled at work, unionized Disneyland employees rallied ahead of an upcoming strike vote.

Graduate students at the University of Montana in Missoula have formed a union after two years of organizing, and with more than 400 eligible members, it will be one of the largest in the state.

According to the city, a mechanic-welder will receive $36.74 hourly starting next July. That will increase to $43.98 by July 2026. A lead worker will also receive $38.99 starting next July and $46.73 starting July 2026.
