The Wilma

Missoula's pop funk band, Shakewell, was joined on stage at the Wilma Theater on Friday by Desperate Electric, the duo of Katyi Korte and Ben Morris from Butte, to celebrate the University of Montana's graduation week.

William Munoz writes, "These two, without the spectacle of the normal Beats Antique concert, were able to draw the crowd into the deeper intricacies of the music while still generating movement with the audience."

William Munoz writes, "Neko Case is one of the few artists I listen to over again, year after year, since first hearing her in 2006 when she released 'Fox Confessor Brings The Flood.'"

William Munoz writes, "Given the near sell out of each show, the Rocky Horror Show Missoula style has a good chance of being produced for many years to come."

As the lights in the Wilma Theater went down, the energy in the crowd was only matched by Andy Grammer, who took the stage in his second Missoula concert.

William Munoz writes, "That night at the Wilma taught me something I have long known, that I can and will be surprised by what I don't know and once given that gift will be changed for the best. The Mavericks did that and for that I am grateful."
